I found my passion in animal, specifically pit bull, rescue and rehabilitation when a dog named Indy came into my life and changed it for the better around 8 years ago. Today, I spend my spare time fostering various dogs in need with the help my wonderful pack. It is my hope that, by sharing our day-to-day adventures as a foster family, we can inspire others to join our movement, which advocates for animal rescue, responsible pet ownership, ending animal abuse, and eradicating dangerous breed-specific laws. Over the past couple of years, my home has been a temporary landing spot for around 40 different homeless dogs in need. From handling extreme medical cases to bottle-feeding newborn puppies, we have wholeheartedly experienced both the pain and pleasure of being a committed foster family. I mostly foster through Fresno Bully Rescue, our local breed-specific rescue dedicated to saving pit bull type dogs. I have also fostered with other non-profit rescue organizations, and taken animals into my care independently until they found their forever homes. We share our honest experiences, encourage others to research the cold, hard facts, and connect with other pet owners and advocates from all over the world through social media.
